PHSOF Nomination Process

The PSHOF enshrines one class of approximately six individuals every two years, comprised of athletes chosen from all sports. All submissions to our committee will be compared against other candidates in their sport, that have already been submitted. We have a new format where we are including current and former coaches for their input into which athletes deserve strongest consideration for their sport. Each athlete is then put into a candidate order for their sport and then compared with athletes of all sports.

Former PHS Graduates become eligible for consideration five years after graduation and we ask that any candidate submissions include the following:

1 - WRITE-UP: 2-3 paragraph write-up about a candidate that includes verified accomplishments, stats, career history, etc.. sources should include the candidate, yearbooks, newspaper articles, scrapbooks, team stat books and their direct coaches’ feedback if possible. Take a look at recent class athlete profiles on our website at www.pshof.org for ideas.

2 - PHOTOS: 1-2 photos of the candidate

3 - CONTACT: Full contact information of candidate or family members for posthumous submissions.

4 - VETERANS: If your submission is a pre-1970’s Candidate with few stats available, provide a write up with as much information as possible and we will get back with you. (See below for process)

** Download nomination form below and include it with the above information.

*** PLEASE NOTE ***

While there is no guarantee that submissions will result in a candidate making into the Hall of Fame at any point in time, we still welcome any and all submissions to our committee for consideration.
